Bee Jays Conclude Season with NBC Loss

Liberal finished their season with a 2-1 loss to the Hutchinson Monarchs Wednesday night at the 92nd NBC World Series at Eck Stadium in Wichita.  Liberal finishes 1-3 at the event.

Liberal loaded the bases with no outs in the third and scored on a double play.  Hutch scored with two outs in the bottom of the third.  Hutch scored on a  passed ball in the seventh to lead 2-1.

Josh Caravalho pitched 5 and 1/3 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts and one walk.  Ben Finnegan was 2-3 in the loss.

Hutchinson is 27-10. Liberal finishes 22-12-1 and 1-3 at the NBC World Series.
